Realiza-se, nos dias 24 e 25 de Setembro de 2009, na FIL - Feira Internacional de Lisboa, no Parque das Nações, em Lisboa, a Conferência Europeia sobre Saúde e Migrações “Better Health for All”, no âmbito do Projecto “Assisting Migrants and Communities, Analysis of Social Determinants of Health and Health Inequalities” (AMAC). O evento é organizado pelo Alto Comissariado da Saúde e pela Organização Internacional para as Migrações.

O Projecto «Assisting Migrants and Communities, Analysis of Social Determinants of Health and Health Inequalities» (AMAC), que conta com o Alto Comissariado da Saúde como parceiro, visa promover um diálogo multilateral que combata as desigualdades relacionadas com a migração, bem como investigar os mais importantes indicadores de saúde relacionados com as populações migrantes, na União Europeia.
