JAS Farma® Culture is established in the principle that entrepreneurship, economic success and the specific nature of social communication bussiness must bring a social responsability in the support to the community where we are integrated.
Through the first ten years of existance we have developed in a sustainable way a support strategy to several entities that fight/work for the community. Entities that very often have to face with serious financial dificulties and very little public visibility.
This way JAS Farma® established partnerships through which give freely space in its publications to anounce several projects and initiatives. Each year JAS Farma® give a minimum number of pages for freely publicity.
The significant contribute JAS Farma® has been given to society is reflected in many health news published that usually don`t rouse the attention of the media for the reason that allegelly aren't of interest to many Portuguese.
In effect JAS Farma® is usually the only agency present on health events that take place in Portugal. We considerer this is a worthy effort due to the high relevance of those news to a certain number of patients and their families.
JAS Farma® equally supports several entities by diffusing prevention national campaigns namelly from scientific societies and patients assocations.
As a result of a significant partnership with the Portuguese Health Ministry JAS Farma® has already distributed through the years namelly hundreds of thousands of copies from Medicina & Saúde® magazine in hospitals and health centers all over the country. This way it was given in a constant manner actual informations to health profissionals and to the general Portuguese population.
Our responsability and our commitment aren`t exclusivelly oriented to the outside of the company.
Perfectly aware of the serious social problem that Portugal face with the extremelly reduced natality rate, JAS Farma® grants rights and facilities to young mothers and fathers beyond what the law stipulates. We namelly try to co-ordinate a more flexible schedule work of young parents with the company needs.
